Dungannon Credit Union wishes to appoint a full time Compliance and Risk Officer to provide a compliance and risk management oversight function at our office in William Street, Dungannon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading and ambitious Credit Union with over 10,000 members and assets over £30 million. This is a permanent position and will require the successful candidate to work 34.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have:

  1. A minimum of three years post qualification experience in a compliance and / or risk management role in financial services (Credit Union / Bank / Building Society, Finance, Insurance / Pension Company).
  2. A professional qualification relevant to the role.
  3. A detailed knowledge and understanding of the latest regulatory compliance and Data Protection requirements.
  4. A track recordof delivering on targets and objectives within regulatory and non-regulatory deadlines.
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work and communicate at all levels within the Credit Union including report writing and presentation.
  6. Proven training delivery experience.
  7. Proven ability to work on their own initiative.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in the Credit Union sector is desirable but not essential.
  2. Experience of Progress system or similar systems.
  3. Data Protection experience and or a strong understanding of the UK General Data Protection Regulations.

Remuneration will be competitive and commensurate with the experience of the appointed candidate.
