Dungannon Credit Union wishes to appoint a full time Compliance and Risk Officer to provide a compliance and risk management oversight function at our office in William Street, Dungannon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading and ambitious Credit Union with over 10,000 members and assets over £30 million. This is a permanent position and will require the successful candidate to work 34.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of three years post qualification experience in a compliance and / or risk management role in financial services (Credit Union / Bank / Building Society, Finance, Insurance / Pension Company).
- A professional qualification relevant to the role.
- A detailed knowledge and understanding of the latest regulatory compliance and Data Protection requirements.
- A track recordof delivering on targets and objectives within regulatory and non-regulatory deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work and communicate at all levels within the Credit Union including report writing and presentation.
- Proven training delivery experience.
- Proven ability to work on their own initiative.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Credit Union sector is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of Progress system or similar systems.
- Data Protection experience and or a strong understanding of the UK General Data Protection Regulations.
Remuneration will be competitive and commensurate with the experience of the appointed candidate.
